Consulting Engagements

Al Enzweiler d/b/a Enzweiler Group has successfully completed an average of two projects every year since founding Enzweiler Group in 1986.   Each project is for one or more of the following services:

• Assess the current state, create the vision of the desired future state and analyze the business case for an ERP system

• Plan the implementation to include phasing strategies all tasks for moving from the current state to the future state

• Develop an organization to manage the project including executive sponsors, steering committee, project management, team leaders and team members

• Evaluate systems, select systems and negotiate contracts

• Manage or oversee a successful ERP system implementation

• Manage change and transfer knowledge

In 1998 and 1999, Al Enzweiler published two videos:

1. Choosing the Right ERP Vendor - how to evaluate systems, defining the selection criteria, and comparative information on Oracle, PeopleSoft and SAP.

2. ERP Installation: Keys to Success - covers setting objectives, defining the scope, developing implementation phasing strategy and workplans, and evaluating implementation services from system integrators and consultants

Published multiple articles in Management Accountant the Institute of Management Accountant's journal.

Work History Prior to Founding Enzweiler Group

• Vice President for Information Science Inc. (a system vendor that offered an integrated human resource system for IBM mainframes.  Information Science was acquired by Computer Associates in 1986)

• Manager for Touche Ross & Co. (now Deloitte Consulting) specialized in large system projects for manufacturers, engineering firms, construction firms and governments

• Division Controller and IT Project Manager for Holiday Inns, Inc. managed the development and implementation of a new corporate-wide financial system

• United States Marine Corps
